Hey familia,
What a week it has been... To be completely honest I have had a tough week. Sister Stott has been sick ALL week. We have stayed inside for a severe cold. She even went to the emergency room on Saturday because she had a bloody nose that would not stop. I want you to know how hard it has been for me. We have been out for 17 days since we became companions. I know that she needs to heal but I feel like there is a point for a missionary to work through the pain. I have been going crazy in the apartment trying to stay productive. This trial has taught me PATIENCE. I really do love her but it has really been difficult.
Besides staying in the apartment all week we were able to have a lesson with Vivian. She is such an amazing woman and we are both so grateful for the opportunity that we have to teach her. She is still on date for June 21st. I can't believe just a few short weeks ago we found her cleaning her car and now she wants to get baptized. She has to still overcome some word of wisdom issues so continue to keep her in your prayers!
I know that this email is shorter than usual but not much happened. I am really looking forward to our Skype lesson with Justin tonight and I know that it will boost my spirits. Have such a fun week! I can't believe it's the last week of school. These Virginians are still in school till the middle of June.
Love your daughter, sister, and friend,
Sister Smith
