Hey family,
Wow you all had a really adventurous week last week! Jake was really hand cuffed? I cant believe it! Can you tell him to email me and tell me the whole story?
This past week was my last full week in Gainesville. I really have loved this area will all of my heart and I know that the people I have met here will be in my life forever. I really am not certain it's my last week in Gainesville but I have been here for 4 transfers (6 months) and feel that the Lord will call me to one more area before I head to the west. It's also most likely that I will not be a sister training leader anymore. I am ready for this exciting change in my missionary work and am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to serve in this position.
This week I have two highlights. The first highlight was going to the mission home and having a sister training leader training with Sister Riggs. It was really motivational and inspiring and inspired me to continue to be where my feet are finish strong.
The next highlight was going to a new and returning member fireside. The Chalmers came and at the end of the fireside the talked to me and let me know what an influence I have been in their reactivation process. I cried like a child! I really needed to hear those words to know that I really have made a difference being here in the Gainesville ward. I love them dearly!
I have gained in Gainesville (members feed us so well), sweat in Gainesville (worked hard), been in accidents and ER visits in Gainesville, and most of all LOVED GAINESVILLE! I really am excited for you all to meet the people who mean so much to me here.
I love you and hope you have a beautiful week!
Love, Sister Smith
