Man, will I really see you all next week? It doesn't feel real! I can't believe that I am now at the end of my mission. Mom you are right there are so many emotions running through my head. It is such a weird realization to know that I will be hanging out with you all a week from Friday.
I have had a wonderful week. I have been thinking a lot this week about my mission and the people who have touched my life here. I can just go on and on about the individuals who helped me become the person I am now. Northern VA is holy ground. I will never forget the experiences I have had and the way I have felt. I never knew what an impact my mission would be on my life. I am still Kelsey but I hope that I am an even better Kelsey.
My companion and I were talking a lot about the habits we form on a mission. I have done the same things for a year and a half. I have studied the scriptures daily, prayed more than I ever have in my entire life, exercised daily and received revelation for myself as well as my investigators. I want to keep these similar habits when I get home. I know I will not be able to study for two hours a day, or exercise every day but I know that I can try. When I go home I also would love to be in the temple weekly. I know that it really is going to take work. I am grateful to know that I have a family who supports me no matter what.
Justin is now a recent convert. Sister Christensen and I loved to Skype into the baptism last Monday. I hope that we were not to much of a distraction. Justin really has so many people who love and support him. I am looking forward to talking to him in person about it. It was also so fun to see Sister Stott there. She really was such a great companion!
This week we taught at the Ashburn Zone Conference, Went to Missionary Leadership Council, and taught the gospel. It has been a spiritual feast.
I know that this email is short but it will be nice to talk about everything in person when I get home.
I really want you to know what a spiritual light you all have been to me as I have been on my mission. I have the best missionary minded family around!
Love, Sister Smith
