Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Adrianne, happy birthday to you!... And many more. Ahh I cannot believe that Ade is 20. Ade, I hope you have a great birthday full of adventures. Don't worry... I will be there for your 21st. Which will be your golden birthday. It's pretty cool I guess. I loved the snapchats that you sent to me. Jake and Josh are really getting big. It's still weird to see Jake without braces and dating. Has Josh grown since I've been out here?
My week was pretty exciting to say the least. I went on two exchanges with wonderful sisters who continue to amaze me with their missionary knowledge. The first exchange I went on was with a girl names Sister Anderson. She is serving in my old ward (Centreville 2nd). I also went on an exchange with her when she was a new missionary. It has been fun to see her progress and get affiliated with missionary work. We talked about my old ward for hours and I was able to give her advice about how to better help the Centreville 2nd ward. I really do love that ward! I hear that Destiny is doing so well and continues to go to church every week. Erandi received her patriarchal blessing too! I love the miracles that I saw there.
My second exchange was with a missionary who used to be my sister training leader when I was in Centreville. We had the opportunity to go to the temple visitor center with one of their recent converts while I was there. I just love this woman and I know that we will be friends for life.
This week we also went to an Easter party and shortly after that we got in a car accident. I didn't realize that Sister Riggs called you! I hope she didn't scare you too much. We were driving to a lesson with our potential investigator when a big Tahoe rear ended us. The Tahoe hit our car pretty hard and because of this we had to go to the emergency room. I had a minor concussion and nausea from the shock. After the ER I slept all day on Saturday and started to feel a little better yesterday. Sister Stott was driving when the accident happened and so she had it worse than I did. I had a good time taking pictures of her with her neck brace on. I know that there were angels watching over us!
It was so great to speak in Sacrament meeting on Easter Sunday. I have come so close to my Savior during this time in my life and so I was very grateful for the opportunity that I had to speak on the Atonement. We had two of our less actives there who haven't been to church in such a long time so I hope that what I said was able to touch them in some way. I will never forget this Easter and the chance that I had to come even closer to my Savior during this time.
I love you and am excited for our Skype lesson tonight with Justin. See you at 6! :)
Love,
Sister Smith
