Hi Family,
Dad I am glad that you had a great week this week! That is so fun that you are taking the boys to St George. And it's awesome that Sabrina went to New York to see that lady. It's hard to believe that our Cruise was almost 2 years ago. Time goes by so fast! Jen (Stone) had a baby?!? Wow, I am glad that she is doing okay.
I am so blessed to be in Centreville for as long as I have. This week we dropped one of our investigators named Margastine. It is okay because I know down the road that she will have that desire to learn from the missionaries. On Wednesday we went to a formers house and that former had moved. At that house there was a family of six kids. We went into the home and had a lesson with them. One of the daughters, a 23 year old, was baptized in Burke VA a year ago. They all moved to Centreville shortly after and she never went back to church. Well... This Sunday we brought all 6 kids to church. The mom said she will try to make it next week. We loaded all of the kids Devina 23 yrs, Bri 18yrs, Ivory 16 yrs, Romeo 13 yrs, Kiki 12 yrs, and Dre 10 yrs into our ward mission leaders car. They all loved church and we will continue to teach them and help them progress towards baptism. Kiki reminds me of Aliyah hahah. That night we had a lesson with one of our investigators named Erandi. She was the one that I was telling you about 2 weeks ago. We had the lesson at a members home and committed her to be baptized on October 26th and she said YES!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH This is my first baptism and I am so happy for her! At the end of the lesson all of her 3 kids said that they wanted to read the Book of Mormon. They are all going to start reading it as a family. She is so prepared. I will have to get pictures so that you can see her adorable family. Her husband who is still in Afghanistan said that he might even be home by then. And he is very supportive of her decision. To say the least it was a greatSunday.
I got Josh's letter. Tell him that I will write him back very soon. I also have a couple of things that I need to send home. Its fall in Virginia people. I love it. the trees are slowly changing colors and everyone is out and about, enjoying the great weather. I hope you all have a great week!
God be with you till we email again,
Love Sister Smith
