Hey guys,
I just looked at my email and realized that you might not have received mine from last week. These past two weeks we have seen miracle after miracle. We have found 7 new investigators this week. The first 5 came from that family that I told you about last week. Well we had a steak dinner and a lesson with all the kids at our ward mission leaders home. Most of them even came to church yesterday, including their mom. It really shows how important it is to look at former investigators in our area books.
The next miracle I would like to talk about is Erandi Munden and her 3 beautiful children. They all came to church for the first time yesterday. I got so teary eyed when I saw them walk into the church building. It was the Primary Program and it was perfect because the children bring such a spirit to the meeting. That night we had a lesson with them in a member's home. We taught the Plan of Salvation and she loved it. Her daughter Destiny who is 11 says that she wants to get baptized with her mom. Both Erandi and her daughter Destiny have been reading the Book of Mormon and love it. They both watched the General Relief Society Broadcast too! Erandi said that she felt that the Prophet was speaking directly to her. Erandi's husband (who is less active and hasn't been to church in over 20 years and is now on his 3rd deployment to Afghanistan) is starting to read the Book of Mormon again and wants to have an eternal family. Erandi did not feel good about October 26th for a baptism date and so she picked November 9th. I love this family with all of my heart! They are all going to watch General Conference in members homes too. The ward has really stepped up and is making the Munden family feel very welcome.
We are also teaching a woman named Nancy. She was a former investigator who is now going to start reading the Book of Mormon again. We are teaching many Less Actives as well. I feel so blessed to be in Centreville!!
It sounds like you all had a great week! I am so happy that Sabrina's papers are in. I cannot wait to hear where she is going. How did Josh's tournament go? Did he win? Can you believe that this is the last day of September. Halloween is on its way. This is the last week until transfers. I hope I can stay in my area and continue to train Sister Calder. Transfers are this Thursday so I will send you an email Friday telling you where I am and where you can send the letters.
I love you all so much and I hope you have a great Conference weekend! In the next weeks email tell me all about your favorite parts of conference :)
Love Sister Smith
