So as you know I like to use my preparation days as adventure days...
Today I have been in DC all day. It was my last time but I know that I
will be able to see it again when you guys come with me.
This week Sister Christensen and I taught at the Leesburg Zone
Conference about how to get our investigators to church. This is my
3rd time teaching at a zone conference and it gets easier every time.
I feel like I am more comfortable getting up in front of people and
giving presentations.
We also had exchanges this past week. I went on an exchange with
Sister Barrus who is serving in a YSA ward here in the Ashburn area.
It was fun to be back in a singles ward for the day.
Erin was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints this past Sunday. She is such a solid member. She even
taught in Young Woman's with another beehive in the ward. I am so
grateful to have had the opportunity to teach her. We also are
teaching a whole bunch. Our schedule is filled every week almost. I
feel it's that way so I can keep my head in the work and be a hard
working missionary till the end.
Wow, I feel like I am coming home to a new home. I am excited to see
all of the changes that were made in the house. Mom, I really am so
jealous that you have been to Florida twice since I have been on my
mission! You are a lucky.
Also, will you still be able to sign me up for classes at BYU? I hope
I can get into the classes that I told you about last week.
Thanks for all of your encouragement! I can't wait to see you all in a
few short weeks!
Love,
Sister Smith
