Hey Fam,
Ahhh I hope Ade and Lexus are doing alright! That scares me. I am grateful that she is liking her job. Haha is it weird to me that Savannah had a job interview. I just feel like everyone should still be little. Is that too much to ask? Anywhoo, Dad I am happy that you are enjoying Tennis still and that all is going well. Sabrina has less than 1 month! I am getting butterflies just thinking about it. It’s crazy that I will not see her tell September 2015.
I am living a dream.... I am now working back in Braddock full time with my amazing hippie companion, Sister Hills. I am truly grateful to the Lord for sending her to me. We clicked right away. She is from Farmington Utah and worked as a videographer before her mish. We will both continue to serve as Sister Training Leaders. It’s just too good!
We had an interesting transfer meeting this past Thursday. President Riggs decided to hold a whole mission conference during transfer meeting. For the mission conference we watched a video called The Saratov Approach. I guess this is a new movie that has just come out in local theaters. I bet it’s playing at a few in Utah. This movie is about 2 missionaries in Russia who go through a trying experience and are able to overcome this hard scary trial. President Riggs decided to show this video to us to help all those missionaries who are struggling. The whole mission was in tears after the movie was over. I know that this really helped those who are struggling. If you watch it you will have to tell me about it!
Sister Hills and I are hitting the pavement. It’s pretty difficult to find people to teach in a singles ward! We will be doing a lot of street contacting this week at the GMU campus. Katerine came to church again this past Sunday. She will also be going to institute this coming week. She is working out a few things but I have a really good feeling that she will be baptized before I leave the area.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I want to tell you all how much I LOVE you! I especially want you to know how much I LOVE my mission. It hands down is the hardest thing that I have done up to this point in my life, but I LOVE the chance that I have to overcome my fears and do hard things. I LOVE my Savior and I LOVE that he knows how I am feeling. I LOVE the power of prayer and the chance that I have to come closer to my Father in Heaven each day.
Thanks for all of the LOVE and continued support that you give to me each week. I hope that you all have a beautiful Valentine’s Day.
LOVE,
Sister Smith
