Hey,
AHHHH! I will be a cougar soon. I really am so happy that I have been
accepted into BYU. This has been my dream for quite some time and now
it's becoming a reality. Sister Lindmeir said she was accepted into
BYU as well... It's going to be so fun. Do you know when I need to
sign up for classes? Let me know and I can get permission to sign up
for them here in VA.
I would honestly like to give my homecoming talk my first weekend
back. I will still be fresh off of the plane and be ready to give the
talk. It's crazy that we are planning this all right now. I feel like
I am in a limbo stage where I know that I am heading home in a month
but I feel like this is home and all I know. It's weird really!
We had a busy week this week. We spent lots of time getting things put
together for Erin's baptism. She really is so great. Her baptism was
yesterday and it was truly wonderful. There were 50+ members that came
to support her on her special day. Her best friend and step dad who
are nonmembers came and they really enjoyed it. Erin's mom (who is a
returning less active) gave a talk for her baptism and we all just
cried.
I also went on two exchanges this week. I went to Leesburg for an
exchange and I also went to Belmont Ridge. The Belmont Ridge area is a
walking area and so I probably walked 5 miles by the end of the night.
I love you and am looking forward to seeing you in a few short weeks!
Love, Sister Smith
