I am emailing you from a metro here in VA. Sister Richins and I
decided to go to DC today and see the White House and check out some
of the museums. Mom and dad I really can't wait till you guys come to
DC so I can take you to the Art museums. They are simply splendid and
you can really spend hours there.
This week Sister Richins and I found 5 new investigators. We found
three of them last Monday. The mission put together an event called
the finding fest where all 250 missionaries tract and street contact

in that three hour span. It just shows that when you are consecrated
The Lord will bless you.
There really are so many prepared people here in the Ashburn ward. We
are running all day everyday and it feels so good! I am really loving
my area and am again so grateful that The Lord knew I needed to be
here. Our recent convert Claudia is also doing really well.
I went on two exchanges this past week as well. I went to Leesburg
with Sister Wright and Sister Rossi who is in the singles ward out
here came to me in Ashburn. Both of these sisters have not been out
for a long period of time so it was fun to help them and encourage
them to be consecrated missionaries.
Well folks that sums up my week. I hit my 16 month mark this past
week... CRAZY HUH! I really don't know how it feels to not be a
missionary. This is life and I know that it is coming to an end but
don't worry I will continue to give it all that I have while I am
Dad congrats on finishing your first week as bishop! I am sure that
people just love you. Who are your counselors? Mom, how did the paint
job go on the condo in St. George? Can you send me pictures of the
place? Jake sure looks like a stud. He looks a lot different from when
Sister Richins and I are planning on Skyping tonight at 6pm your time.
Hopefully this still works. Message me on Facebook if we need to
change the appointment. We will be focusing again on tithing and then
also talk about Fasting and fast offerings. Please let us know if we
should do something else.
